Zette has been writing poetry, short stories and plays all her life. After working as a corporate trainer and reservationist for a major airline for many years, 911 and a divorce happened that changed her life as she knew it. In between figuring out what to do with her next life she took a writing course. While sitting in class one night waiting for her turn to introduce herself, a classmate turned to her, looking her up and down and said, “I guess you will be writing poetry!”
From that night and many to follow she would wake from some pretty detailed erotic dreams. She started keeping a notepad and pen on her nightstand and started writing them down, returning to sleep and transferring her notes to her computer once she was fully awake. The time came around for her to recite from her book. While standing in the class she looked across the room to find her classmate and thanked her for completely changing her train of thought. She read the new title and explained to the adult class what her manuscript was about. The instructor told her the time has come to let go of the support of peers hearing her writing and face her fears! From then on, the birth of a collection. Over the years this collection of thoughts, poetry and musings has been recited, read and edited multiple times. It actually kept growing until one day she told herself it was done!
